Gsies is a town that lies in the valley, starting from the village of Monguelfo. All around, it extends the uncontaminated areas of the valley, formed in the course of centuries from Rio Casies. There are many paths, trails and scenic routes, including trips to the Kaser hut, hut Laxiden, the Panorama Trail Talblick.
Every year in February there is the "Gran Fondo Val Casies " famous cross-country race that winds for 42 km along the entire valley.
